The K-pop star Lisa delivered an electrifying performance at the Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes 2024, a charity concert held in Paris on January 26. Wearing a golden glittery outfit and a metallic skirt, Lisa dazzled the stage of the Accor Arena, accompanied by the Lamoureux Orchestra.
Lisa performed two of her solo hits, “Lalisa” and “Money”, with stunning choreography and powerful vocals. The audience, composed of Blackpink fans called “Blinks”, sang and danced along with her, creating a festive and warm atmosphere.
Lisa also shared her happiness of being in Paris and supporting the cause of the Pièces Jaunes, a foundation that helps hospitalized children and adolescents. She posted a photo of herself on Instagram with the caption: “Hier soir était incroyable. Un grand merci aux pièces jaunes pour cette nuit inoubliable. Ravie d’avoir revu les blinks français, love you” (Last night was incredible. A big thank you to the Pièces Jaunes for this unforgettable night. Happy to have seen the French blinks again, love you).
The Pièces Jaunes concert is an annual event that features various artists and celebrities. This year, the lineup included Stray Kids, Maroon 5, J Balvin, Pharrell Williams, and Gims. The concert was broadcasted live on TF1 and raised more than 10 million euros for the foundation.
Lisa’s participation in this concert is notable because it marks her return to the same venue where she performed with Blackpink in January 2023. The group made history as the first K-pop act to headline the Accor Arena, formerly known as Bercy.
Lisa is currently focusing on her solo career, frequently appearing on international stages for both fashion and music. She recently collaborated with DJ Snake on a song called “SG”, which topped the charts in several countries. She is also the global ambassador of Celine, a French luxury brand.
Lisa’s solo activities do not affect her commitment to Blackpink, as the group renewed their contract with YG Entertainment in December 2023. The other members of the group are also pursuing their individual endeavors. Jennie launched her own agency, OA, while Jisoo is focusing on her acting career. Rosé has not yet announced her solo plans.
